Eligibility 

You can enter the prize draw if: 

• you are aged 14 to 18 years old 

• live in Australia and  

• completed the On Your Terms: Youth survey on consent and sex ed.

You cannot enter if you completed the survey through an accredited online panel provider. 

Participants under 18 years of age living in South Australia are not eligible to enter the prize draw.

Entries are limited to one per person.

Entry into the Prize Draw is open to all eligible people who complete the survey by midnight on the survey closing date.  

Duration of entry period 

The entry period for inclusion in the Prize Draw is from the first day of the survey opening until midnight AEST on the survey closing date.  

Details of prizes and prize values 

The total value of the prize pool is $2,000. 

Date, time and place of draw 

The Prize Draw will be conducted at 12.00 PM AEST on the day following the close of the survey.  The draw will be conducted at L2, 273 Camberwell Road, Camberwell VIC 3124. Winners will be selected through a random computer-generated draw. 

Cancellation/modify clause 

If for any reason any aspect of the Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of Wallis Social Research (Wallis), Wallis may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation. 

Publication of winner names and unclaimed prizes 

Publication of winner names 

Winners will be notified by telephone and email, using the details provided by the survey respondent, within 7 days of the draw.  

The first initial and state of all winners of the prize draw will be published on the On Your Terms Survey website within 14 days after the draw.  

Records relating to the prize draw, including the prize winner’s name, email address, and proof of delivery of the prize will be kept on Wallis’ secure systems for 5 years.  

Unclaimed prize draw 

If any prizes are unclaimed by 3 months following the close of the survey an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12.00PM on the following day at the above address. The winners will be notified by telephone and email, using the most recent contact details provided by the survey respondent, within 7 days of the draw. Records relating to the Prize Draw, including the non-winners and prize winner’s name, email address, and proof of delivery of the prize will be kept on Wallis’ secure systems for 5 years.

Privacy of your information  

By providing your Wallis Social Research (and any subcontractors) will collect and handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Archives Act 1983 (Cth) and its Privacy Policy.  

By providing your contact details, you consent to Wallis Social Research using your personal information to contact you in relation to the prize draw. 

Wallis’ Privacy Policy also sets out how you can access your personal information and how to make a complaint about your information has been handled. 

eGiftcard Terms and Conditions 

All Prize Draw winners will receive an eGiftcard. 

After Prize Draw winners have been notified, winners will be emailed their eGiftcard prize using the email address confirmed at the time of notification.  

The email will contain a link to GiftPay where the winner can choose how to spend the value of their eGiftcard across many different retailers and charities listed on this website: https://www.giftpay.com.au/business/egifts.aspx

Each giftcard brand and denomination is subject to demand and availability. Therefore each brand and denomination of the giftcard may not be available at all times. 

Please note, the eGiftcards cannot be used at retailers that sell liquor products, tobacco products or dangerous goods in accordance with applicable State and Territory laws.

Prize winners with no valid email address 

If the winner does not have a valid email address, Wallis Social Research will send the winner’s prize using registered post. This will incur no additional cost to the prize winner. It does, however, require the winner to specify which retailer they wish to redeem their giftcard in advance.
